It’s Monday. I have a test. I need to get my life together. Without an excessive introduction, here’s some of my favorite Black Girl Magic accounts!
Can we count this as #MotivationMonday?

Fall tends to be the start of my procrastination days during the school year. Not that I’m proud of that, but at least I can be honest about it. To more specific, I like to spend my procrastinator time watching YouTube. After all, you can never watch too many fall makeup looks. Or fall fashion hauls. Or really, anything.
Here are my top five YouTubers to watch this fall! All of these ladies post a variety of makeup looks, fun hauls, hair tutorials and more. Plus, they’re each pretty funny. The images are linked below. Happy Procrastinating.
Who are your favorite YouTubers? Let me know in the comments!
Don’t forget to subscribe to weekly blog post emails from my new site launching on November 4, 2016.
This past week, Kid Cudi made an announcement about his choice to enter rehabilitation for his experiences with depression and suicidal thoughts. As one of his fans, I’m not only proud of him for his choice to seek help but for also stirring some important conversations here in the black community; more specifically, among black men.
It’s summertime – a time for making memories with friends, family, and your beau. But what if you and your guy are miles away from each other? Then what?
Happy First Day of Summer! After a long four-month hiatus, I am back and I’m super excited! First, I will jump in and answer the burning questions: Where have you been? Where did you go?
Well, I’ve been…
As I begin to plan my final year in college and start to imagine my life after I graduate, I’m finding myself stressed and perplexed. After some prayer, sleep, and lots of Double Stuf Oreos, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to reflect on some past lessons from different stages of my life. After all, hindsight is 20/20. I’m sharing with you a few short letters to younger Eboni.
You may remember from my “2016: Let’s Get It” post that I wanted to work towards losing weight! Confession time: I just started the exciting journey a week ago. I’ve been eating a lot better, but exercising is something I’m still trying to get back in the groove of. Instead, I just run. Personally, running doesn’t feel like exercise! Nonetheless, here are a few songs that I enjoy listening to while breaking a sweat. Click here to listen to the songs on Spotify!
These days on social media, we are always seeing memes of people who are #relationshipgoals. Unfortunately matching outfits and trying to be Beyonce and Jay-Z, will not guarantee you longevity in a relationship.
Yesterday, my parents celebrated their 23rd Wedding Anniversary. Even though their hopelessly romantic tendencies for each other can have me heading for the door at times, I have to say their relationship is quite admirable. I want to share with you 8 things my parents’ marriage has taught me.
For my fellow college students, spring semester is upon us! We had a nice, long winter break and we are prepared to take on a new semester of challenge. Or at least that’s what we try to tell ourselves.
Spring semester is hard! First it starts off so chilly that you want skip class and stay in bed. Then it switches to beautiful warm weather that makes you want to be anywhere else but the library. On top of that, semi-annual sales are happening and you need to rack up on clothes before the season switches. And how can I forget? Orange is the New Black is coming back to Netflix. So many distractions.
I know that some of you are looking to not only finish, but start the semester strong. In an effort to help you get refocused, I’ll be showing you some of the ways I prep and gear myself up for a successful semester!
If you’re from the South, you know there is only one thing worst than unsweetened tea: SNOW. I’m not a fan of cold weather, so I’m a very happy girl when classes and work gets canceled and I can just stay home. I’m sure the cold winter is hitting you too, so my mom and I came up with some must-do’s to help you enjoy your snow day!
